The size of each individual door within your bifold depends on the material. The Timber bifold doors we supply have been Secured by Design membership.

Can bifold doors be fitted with low thresholds?

99% of our doors are fitted with a standard rebated threshold to ensure your build is weather rated and will pass all building regulations. It is possible to have your door fitted with a flush threshold but I would like you to pay attention to the fact this will NOT be weather rated and is unlikely to pass your building regulations. Alternatively the standard threshold we mainly use can be set into the brickwork to provide a near-flush finish (this requires a site visit and the adjustment is chargeable).
